Cleaning Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Cleaning Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is primarily responsible for overseeing approx.6-10 employees.
Essential Functions:

Supervises and leads staff in the manual cleaning of commercial motor coach buses and/or shuttle buses as well as facility cleaning.
Ensures staff is performing duties so that bus interiors/exteriors are clean, safe and ready for passengers
Stays flexible on work hours and work days in efforts to monitor all crews
Manages all aspects of staff discipline including performance coaching and disciplinary procedures
Recommends and promotes changes to the wash bay operations that yield efficient results
Works closely with different company departments, listens to suggestions, meets their needs and puts effort into maximizing wash bay output
Stays positive and manages job-related stress that comes from high volume work, including last minute changes, staffing and performance issues, work deadlines, incidents/accidents and unpredictable events
Stays abreast of company demands, including on the spot assignments & emergencies
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director of Maintenance or General Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience supervising, leading or coaching staff
Ability to prioritize work objectives so goals are achieved, give/receive work directives in a professional, timely and effective manner
Must possess a pleasant demeanor and treat customers accordingly and be able to communicate fluently in the English language and provide a completed employment application with 5+ year work history and show proof to legally work in the United States
Must pass a pre-employment interview, physical and drug-screen and a criminal background check
Must be able to pass the internal driving training of the company and be comfortable driving and parking buses within the yard. CDL is not required but preferred.  
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift items with minimal exertion (up to 30 pounds at a time)
Must be able to sit, stand, squat, reach, kneel, lift, push, pull and bend at any given time
